Toronto Community Housing Collective Agreement

The selection of candidates is based on an assessment of the candidate`s ability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position in accordance with the corresponding job description. When determining suitability for a position, the Toronto Community takes into account factors such as training, experience, knowledge, skills and, where applicable, seniority or other relevant provisions within a collective agreement. The internal selection of candidates for management and exemption positions also takes into account the performance of candidates at Toronto Community Housing. Collective agreement(s): the most recent collective agreement between Toronto Community Housing and one or two unions. The new employment requirements are made available to trade unions in accordance with the respective collective agreements. After the electronic signature of the successful candidate, all other candidates are informed that they were not the successful candidate in the selection procedure. Internal candidates can request feedback from the hiring manager, the recruiter or as stipulated in the collective agreement.
